A TRAPPED IN YOUR MIND FEELING
An exhibition about anxiety organized by Lucy Puls with essay by Heidi De Vries. To be held concurrently at Transmission Gallery and Aggregate Space.
A TRAPPED IN YOUR MIND FEELING looks at the pervasiveness of anxiety in our everyday world. Sometimes it does feel as if the sky is tumbling down if only for a split second. By addressing concerns about the economy, the environment, microscopic terrors like viruses and bacteria, computer technology, the human body, aging relatives, and sex, the works in this exhibition provoke those unwelcome jolts of pernicious unease.
Tim Armstrong, Sarah Bliss, Kirk Crippens, Aida Gamez, Farley Gwazda, Richard Haley, Conrad M. Meyers II, Sandra Ono, Melissa Pokorny, Emma Spertus, and John Tronsor.
