Splashdown >> Art Party & Fundraiser
Friday, March 20

Our small organization gratefully is moving to its new home in West Oakland after being priced out of our only home we’ve ever known. This fundraiser will allow us to develop and continue to highlight, support and share the work of Bay Area artists.

The main event takes place on March 20 at ASG’s new home on 26th and Union Street in West Oakland and will include live music and performance by local artists and a party to celebrate the good news.

Any level of support will go a long way. Despite this shift to rebuild our new space, we are hopeful but we need your support  today. We are building something important and you can be a part of it and the future - We need you right now while we are building the foundation. The Bay Area needs this community space to lift up diverse and unheard voices. Money raised from this event will allow us to develop our new home for our community. ❤️

A Big Thank You to our Partners and Sponsors!

Why Your Support Matters

We believe in an Oakland where artists can make and experience art in a safe space with access to production tools and hands-on guidance, creating work that fuels critical dialogue in a time when it is desperately needed. Artists are visionaries. Artists need space, money, and community to make their best work, asking critical questions that help our society thrive. In August we will be priced out of the only home we have ever known, but we already have partnerships and satellite programming lined up for the following 10 months. This leap needs to happen for our community and an investment in ASG is an investment in weird and daring art in Oakland. Thanks for believing in us and partnering with us for the future!
