The Most Boring Day in History
4 April – 3 May 2014
In late 2010, programmer William Tunstall-Pedoe determined the most boring day since 1900 to be this titular day. His “True Knowledge” search engine used complex algorithms and the input of over 300 millions facts that made the news to find that “this particular day was extremely notable for having almost nothing happen.”
Aggregate Space Gallery would like to celebrate this 60th anniversary by displaying work that doesn’t attempt to create new inspiration so much as celebrate the inspiration found in the smallest and most overlooked places. Featuring work by Brent Cunningham, Josh Pieper, James Tantum, and Brian Wasson.
